About me

My name is Iryna Zakharova, and I am the founder of Ivory&Fine, a stationery studio I established in 2019 in my hometown of Kyiv, Ukraine. With an MBA from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and studies at San Diego State University, my journey began with a Swedish company specializing in polygraphic equipment for printing houses. This was where I discovered my passion for the art of printing. Visiting printing houses across Europe, I was captivated by the intricate processes, the smell of ink, and the endless possibilities hidden within paper, foil, and machinery.

I’m a self-taught graphic designer, driven by curiosity and a love for creating. Designing isn’t just a profession for me; it’s a passion. Each box I craft is inspired by the unique stories of my clients, and it’s a privilege to contribute to their most cherished celebrations.

I split my time between Kyiv and San Diego, where my parents reside, finding inspiration in both the rich heritage of my homeland and the dynamic energy of California. I’m married to my best friend and partner, Vadym, who oversees production, and together, we’re raising our son while building a business we’re deeply proud of.

Our studio remains firmly rooted in Kyiv, a city brimming with history and resilience. Despite the challenges Ukraine faces, we are committed to our craft and to bringing moments of joy and beauty to couples worldwide. Every piece we create is a symbol of hope, love, and the belief that life’s precious moments deserve to be celebrated with artistry and care.
